WZPK Series Armored thermal resistor
Overview
Armored thermal resistor is a kind of temperature sensor, who has smaller diameter, easily bending,
better seismic resistance comparing to assembly type platinum resistance. It is suitable to be erected
on the place where the assembly type thermal resistors can’t be erected. Our WZPK series armored thermal
resistor adopts introduced thermal resistor temperature measurement elements, so it has the advantages of
accuracy, sensitiveness, quick thermal response, quality stability, long lifetime.
With stainless steel as exterior protection sleeve and oxidized insulating materials of high density filled inside,
armored thermal resistors characterize antipollution and excellent mechanical strength, so they suits for being
erected in areas where circumstances are bad.
Armored thermal resistors can be used for measurement of temperature between -200°C and 500°C and be connected with secondary instrument directly by copper conductors. Because they have good characteristics
of power output, they can provide accurate temperature variation input signals for display instruments, recording
instruments, accomodometers, scanners, data recording instruments and computers.
Work Principles
Work principles: resistance of hot resistance wire varies as temperature changes, then display instruments will indicate
temperature values corresponding to resistance values produced by thermal resistors.

Nominal Pressure
It generally means protection pipes don’t break while bearing static external pressure. Test pressure
generally is 1.5 times more than nominal pressure. Actually, allowable nominal pressure relates to not
only materials, diameters, wall thickness of protection pipes, but also its structural style, erection methods,
insertion depth and flow velocity, varieties of tested medium.
Thermal Response Time
When temperature step change happens, output change of thermal resistor is equal to 50% of that step change.
The time it takes is called thermal response time indicated by τ0.5.

ambient temperature is 15~35°C, relative humidity shall not be more than 80%, insulation resistance value in the normal temperature shall
not be less than 100MΩ.
